Features and Applications
Water vapor permeable. Waterproof against positive and negative pressure up to 15 atm.
Resistant to freezing and thawing.
Excellent adhesion to all types of substrates, provided they are solid and perfectly clean: ceramic substrates, concrete, high-strength mortars, screeds.
Permanent flexibility. Dynamic (B2) and static (A5) crack bridging capacity according to EN 1504-2.
Resistant to sulfates in low concentrations and non-acidic media.
Waterproofing of tanks, reservoirs, swimming pools, fountains, basements, underground parking garages, elevator shafts, tunnels, balconies, terraces, etc.

Waterproofing and protection of concrete against carbonation, freeze-thaw cycles, and chloride attack in public works, irrigation canals, wastewater treatment plants, desalination plants, bridges, etc. Waterproofing of terraces and balconies (80-90 m² maximum): If we encounter expansion or partition joints every 25-30 m², we will treat them with BANDTEC tape. And always reinforce the entire surface with DRY POOL MESH.

Waterproofing of balconies, terraces, showers, and swimming pools under tiles according to EN 14891. MORCEMDRY F meets the minimum requirements for class CM02P of UNE EN 14891:2012 "Waterproofing membranes for use under ceramic tiles."
CM02P: Certified crack-bridging capacity even at low temperatures (-20°C).
Waterproofing of exterior walls on foundations.
Repair and protection of surfaces exposed to freezing and thawing: overhangs, balconies, roofs, terraces, cornices, etc.
Waterproofing of surfaces susceptible to movement, with positive and negative hydrostatic pressures.
Waterproofing of concrete structures according to EN 1504-2. MORCEMDRY F complies with the principles defined in EN 1504-9 ("Products and systems for the protection and repair of concrete structures"). Concrete. Definitions, requirements, quality control and conformity assessment. General principles for the use of products and systems.” and the requirements of EN 1504-2, as a coating (C) according to principles PI, MC and IR (“Surface protection systems for concrete”).
MORCEM®DRY F complies with the requirements established in Royal Decree RD3/2023, which establishes the health criteria for the quality of drinking water.
Durability
Carbonation rate.

Through tests carried out at the Eduardo Torroja Institute of Construction Sciences according to standard UNE EN 12390-10 - Determination of the carbonation resistance of concrete at atmospheric carbon dioxide levels for 1 year, a carbonation rate (K) of 0 mm/year0.5 (no carbonation profile) was obtained for Morcem Dry F in the case of samples subjected to freeze-thaw tests with thermal shock. and prior immersion in a saturated de-icing salt solution and a carbonation rate (K) of 0 mm/year⁰.⁵ (no carbonation profile) in the case of samples not subjected to freeze-thaw tests with thermal shock and prior immersion in a saturated de-icing salt solution.

These values can be incorporated into models for estimating the corrosion life of reinforced concrete elements and used to calculate the carbonation depth using the expression: P = K * t⁰.⁵, where “P” is the carbonation depth expressed in mm, “K” is the carbonation rate expressed in mm/year⁰.⁵, and “t” is the time expressed in years.

Substrates
The substrate must be firm (minimum tensile strength 1 N/mm²), sound, clean, free of grease, oil, dust, and poorly adhered particles, and fully cured (7 days per cm of thickness).
Absorbent substrates must be pre-moistened to Saturate them, avoiding waterlogging.
Cracks and damaged concrete must be repaired beforehand with MORCEMREST RF 35 or with resins of the BV Injection Resin type.
To waterproof terraces, swimming pools, and balconies with old cladding, ensure the following:
That the existing ceramic cladding is well adhered to the substrate (stable substrate).
That the ceramic cladding is completely clean: free of dust, dirt, grease, varnish, wax, oil, mold, limescale, etc.
NOTE: Consult the technical department before carrying out this type of application.

Instructions for Use
Mortar Mixing:

Begin by manually or mechanically mixing the powdered Component A with 3/4 of the liquid Component B. Then add the remaining liquid component and mix again until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

Application:

Moisten the surface, ensuring no excess water remains. MORCEM DRY F is applied in two 1 mm layers. Apply each coat to a specific thickness using a brush, long-nap roller, or sprayer.
Apply a first coat in one direction and allow it to set for one or two hours (at 20ºC). After this time
